Note: I'm flushing out the graphics of this, but I think this page is important on this site. if we need more time on it, we could work on it while the rest of the site goes live.
Hi. I’m Karla.
First things first, I’m not a person. I’m a bot who helps people.
How? Well, I’m kind of like a data scientist. I can manage, provide and offer data to you that might be helpful.
And, I’m kind of like an assistant—an incredibly organized, efficient one. I can help extend your therapy experience between visits by sending reminders, noting behaviors, things like that. I’m not a substitute for human compassion at all. I can just help scale it so that clients get the care they need whenever they need it.
I also help your coach or clinician to help you in the moment you need it. Instead of having to wait until your next appointment, your coach or clinician can program me to send you support based on what you are working on with them.
Oh—you might be wondering why my name is Karla. It’s a nod to Carl Jung. And the name means “strength” and “a loyal friend; someone who gives all of themselves in any relationship.”
It’s nice to meet you. I hope we get to chat again soon.
Karla is part data scientist, part digital bff. "She" was designed to extend the therapeutic experience our clients need. After the counselor has a session with the client, the counselor can program therapeutic follow ups using Karla. With permissions granted by the client, Karla will be able to know where the client is, what social media posts have been made, and what events are registered on the client's calendar as well as relevant data like sleep quality and movement. The counselor can program supportive interactions at the exact moment the client needs it most. Karla is not a real person, but she is programmed by one and her timing is impeccable.
Because Karla lives on the client's phone, the data always remains the client's. Karla does not gather or extract data. Privacy is important to us all.
